The new Hybrid Shaders system mixes perfectly the RCRN Dynamic shaders with a reworked version of the original ingame shaders, this makes the daylight look beautiful, no more “dark” sunny days, no more “dark” faces, no more high contrast during clear weather!

The new “Color Layer System” is not a “+100@saturation” like all mods out here, but is a new system based on a series of “cold sepia effects“, everything in this mod is developed with really low saturation values.

ENB SERIES COMPATIBILITY:
> Full, via dll proxy. (but remember that RCRN is designed to be Stand Alone!)

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MOD WITH MONITOR PRESETS, it’s intended to work ONLY with standard/text colors @ 6500k.

Installation:
PRESETS:
> RCRN Classic : balanced colors, pitch black nights and realistic dynamic lighting, BRIGHT Sunglare (from v1.5) (recommended for newcomers)
> RCRN Classic S14: balanced colors, pitch black nights and realistic dynamic lighting, OPAQUE Sunglare (from v1.4)
> RCRN Legacy : balanced colors, lesser contrast than RCRN Classic, slightly brighter nights than RCRN Classic and realistic dynamic lighting, BRIGHT Sunglare (from v1.5)
> RCRN Legacy s14: balanced colors, lesser contrast than RCRN Classic, slightly brighter nights than RCRN Classic and realistic dynamic lighting, OPAQUE Sunglare (from v1.4)

MANUAL INSTALLATION (skip this point if you are using the autoinstaller):

After selecting a preset, copy all files from the preset folder to your main Skyrim Folder.

INSTALLATION VIA AUTOINSTALLER (skip this point if you are using manual installation):

Select your main Skyrim Folder when the installer ask for it.
Usually it is:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim
OR
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim
OR
C:\Program Files (x86)\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

BEFORE PLAYING:

- Make sure you have bEnableFileSelection=1 in SkyrimPrefs.ini under [Launcher].

- Make sure “RCRN Classic/Legacy – Hybrid Shaders.esp” and Load Loose Files are checked under Data Files in the Skyrim launcher.

- How can you disable the RCRN FXAA Antialiasing if you don’t like it?
In order to disable Fxaa AA, you have to delete the file “Fxaa3_11.h” and then rename the file “Fxaa3_11_RenameMEforFXAAoff.h” to “Fxaa3_11.h”.
All files are located inside the injFX_Shaders folder placed in your main Skyrim directory.

- PAUSE Key : Enable/Disable Effects (Affects only Post Processing, does not disable the custom .esp)

- A TORCH DURING NIGHTTIME COULD BE USEFUL, GIVE ONE TO YOUR FOLLOWER!

UNINSTALLATION:
MANUAL UNINSTALLATION (skip this point if you installed RCRN via the AUTOINSTALLER):

The files to remove are the following (located in your skyrim folder):

injFX_Shaders (the whole folder)
RCRN Classic/Legacy – Hybrid Shaders.esp (located in “Data” folder)
sun.dds (located in “Data/textures/sky” folder)
sunglare.dds (located in “Data/textures/sky” folder)

UNINSTALLATION VIA AUTOUNINSTALLER (skip this point if you installed RCRN via MANUAL installation):

simply run the Uninstaller.

(yes, you don’t have to disable the standard FXAA, RCRN Fxaa is developed to work with it!)
- Legacy fix is now integrated inside the AutoInstaller.
- updated the skybox layer system, sky blends better.
- sunglare works better in conjunction with HDR.
- decreased saturation due to HDR adjustment.

- Adaptive HDR, warmer colors on certain hours.
- Totally new HDR calculations.
- Updated the “DoublePass” HDR system.
- Better reflections on certain surfaces.

- raised up Saturation to compensate the new HDR calculations.
- raised up Gamma to compensate the new HDR calculations.
- Decreased the impact of the blue palette during night.
- light sources like torches/fires are more brighter.
- fixed a small problem with the sun glare.
- Updated Realistic Water to v1.6a (now matches perfectly with RCRN)

- New DoublePass HDR, 2 times better than a standard one pass HDR.
- fixed the an issue regarding some monitors during night play.
- daytime is more brighter and realistic
- new sunglare effect, this is NOT a blingbling sunglare, it’s only a small revision of the standard one that was killing the HDR.
- added full compatibility with the latest Skyrim patch
- further decreased saturation
- solved an issue with the blue channel that was too bright
** 1.2 **
- HDR post processing is Enabled. This is a Real HDR, not a fake lens flare 2d effect. It will eat about 6/7 fps.
- Night is a bit brighter than version 1.1
- Saturation level is very very low now.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MOD WITH MONITOR PRESETS, it’s intended to work ONLY with standard/text colors @ 6500k.
Make sure you have the latest DirectX runtime installed.

If you are experiencing crashes, please set the Skyrim executable (TESV.exe) to run as administrator.
(Right click TESV.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Check “Run this program as administrator“)

Turn off any on-screen display programs and monitoring tools such as ATI Tray Tools, MSI Afterburner, GPU-Z, XFire etc. (No issues reported with Fraps)

Disable v-sync if experiencing sluggish FPS or mouse lag.

Certain SkyrimPrefs.ini graphical tweaks may cause instability and crashes.
